Evangelism:
The mission of the Lord's church is to take His message of salvation
to the world. This is done by preaching and teaching the Gospel as
clearly seen in the Great Commission (Mt. 28;19,20; Mk. 16:15,16).
Benevolence: The church must also show compassion toward all who are
needy, but especially to other Christians (James 1:27; Gal. 6:10).
Edification: Finally, knowledge is gained and faith is strengthened
by continuing study and fellowship (Acts 2:42; 5:42).
